#61: Case Study: Simplifying Your Facebook Ads Strategy with Bryan Harris

On today’s episode of The Art of Paid Traffic Bryan Harris from videofruit.com joins me to talk about a Facebook ads experiment that he did where his goal was to:

  • Primary objective: Get 500 new email subscribers for less than $1 each.
  • Spend $500 on ads in 14 days.
  • Make sure all new subscribers were interested in the topic of list building (his core topic).
  • Get 50% of them to install his List Goal browser extension.

Bryan loves doing experiments in his business. In fact, over an 18-month period, he’s performed over 100 different marketing experiments.

He then reports the results back to his audience with detailed case studies on how you can use the learnings from his experiments in your business — something he likes to call “Learning Out Loud.”

Today Bryan shares his strategy for using Facebook ads to get 500 new leads for less than $1, the funnel he started out with and then the one he moved into, how he came up with his ad copy, images and his targeting…

He takes you behind the scenes of everything that worked and that didn’t work and shares all his results.

Hey Rick, Awesome episode! My ads are still doing ok, but, wow, I didn’t think of breaking the lookalike audience down more like that, even though I already knew it could be done lol I’ve tried just the straight lookalike audience for my website visitors, my fb page, book buyers, mailing list…. and it just never did very well. I think this is the piece to the puzzle I might need! I just went and made some more adsets off the current ad I’m running that is doing pretty well at the moment. Hoping to get some great results! Thanks, I learned a lot in this episode!
