Today’s episode is a solo episode where you’ll learn all the latest changes in how you set up your Facebook ads in Power Editor.
Facebook’s made a lot of changes over the last little while with how you set up your ads in Power Editor. And depending on where you are in the world, you’ve very likely already received these updates.
When you’re setting up your ads you have 3 levels: Campaign, Ad Set and Ad.
Campaign = objective
Ad Set = your targeting group
Ad – well, your ad
It used to be that you set the targeting, placement, and the pricing and optimization at the Ad level which really didn’t make a ton of sense.
Now, here’s how it’s changed:
Campaign still = objective
At the Ad Set level now, in addition to setting your ad budget and schedule of your ads, this is where you now set your targeting, placement, and the pricing and optimization. By placement I mean like Desktop News Feed.
Make sure you download the How to Set Up Your Facebook Ads For Success Cheat Sheet which shows you a visual representation of all this. In this episode, you’ll also learn how best to set up your Pricing & Optimization for the most leads at the lowest price possible. You’ll also hear my suggestions for split testing your Facebook ads so that you get a true picture of which ads are performing the best.
