On today’s episode of The Art of Paid Traffic we’re again talking about one of my favorite topics, sales funnels, but this time I’m taking you behind the scenes and sharing details of my own business and how I’m working to create funnels in it.
If you’ve been listening from the beginning of the podcast, you know one of my goals here is to share my own personal experiences with paid traffic and such, and today’s episode is an example of that.
We’ve talked a lot about sales funnels here on the show and I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve needed a lot of help when it came to getting better funnels in place for my business.
It’s really the whole reason I switched to Infusionsoft in October of last year from Ontraport. I wanted to create logical and better funnels as they’ve been all over the place.
— I had people coming into rickmulready.com, opting-in, and getting a ton of valuable information from me but it doesn’t lead to an offer at all.
— I have a streaming Facebook ads for beginners online workshop, that people are signing up for but I’m not doing anything with the people who don’t progress after the free workshop. They get through the funnel and then they sat there. No bueno.
— You may have even noticed yourself if you’ve previously signed up for one of my many podcast giveaways, you get whatever the bonus is and then that’s it! I need to do a better job of building a relationship with you.
— And one of the biggest areas for improvement, lacking a “general nurture” campaign. This is where you offer content, helpful tips and advice, book recommendations, etc. I’ve wanted to put a campaign like this into place for a long time.
As you can see, I have a lot of areas where I’m leaving money on the table.
Creating better sales funnels will help plug a lot of those holes.
My guest today, Ely Delaney from YourMarketingUniversity.com, heads-up the team that I’m working with to create better sales funnels and improves everything I’ve just mentioned.
In one part of Ely’s business, he and his partner Cindy strategize sales funnels with you for your business and even create and implement them if you want.
And that’s how we’re working together right now.
We had a strategy call, we mapped out my entire business from a strategic sales funnel perspective and now they’re creating and implementing everything for me (I just have to create all the content).
