Part 2 – Accelerate

A few months back, I was invited to give a talk at an intimate mastermind retreat… so I thought, what the heck, I’ll talk about something intimate.

Something I think *a lot* of experienced online business owners can relate to.

The response? It was kinda overwhelming.

People were coming up to me and thanking me for just being real and giving them permission to admit that this entrepreneurship thing is hard.

These business owners didn’t just want more FB ad hacks, they wanted to know they weren’t alone and that there was hope for a more chilled out and fulfilling future.

If you’re looking for the same, I want to share with you what I shared with them…

For most of my life, I’ve been a chronic worrier.

Underneath worry is obviously: fear.

Fear of failure. Fear of success. Fear of the unknown. If it’s even remotely freaky, I’ve worried about it.

So naturally, when I decided to leave my cushy full-time corporate world gig 6 years ago, I worried a lot.

The result?

It took 18-months of overthinking, playing it safe, and trying to please everyone for me to finally clue in and get the support I needed to even come close to my old income.

It was exhausting. And it wasn’t for lack of trying.

The problem wasn’t laziness. It was that I didn’t have a proven plan, and that caused my anxiety to skyrocket.

I don’t want you to make the same mistake.

Way too many online business owners suffer in silence.

There’s a lot of hats to wear, and pile on top of that life’s responsibilities outside of your career — this aint no 9-5 picnic in the park.

But the thing is, you can sidestep the struggle cycle and stop worrying about what next month’s gonna look like.

That’s what the ‘Power A’ Formula is all about.

In my last email, we talked about Phase 1 – ATTRACT. (If you missed that email, check it out here.)

Today, I’m going to introduce you to the 2nd phase of the ‘Power A’ Formula:

There are 3 necessary steps before you can sell your irresistible, scalable, transformational offers and grow your online business with ease (that we talked about in my previous email).

This is where things get interesting because the foundational work is done — now you get to watch the $$$’s and the peace of mind flood in.

Sounds fancy doesn’t it? But it’s really not. Influence is a science. It’s figureoutable no matter how uninfluential you think you are.

You don’t need to become internet famous or have an email list of 250,000.

Either you already have what you need to create influence OR you can easily attain it.

If you ticked off 3 or more, you’re well-equipped to get out there and promote your leveraged offers!

Now, let’s talk about HOW to do that…

Your promotional “mechanism” as I call it, should be unique to your business. Just because someone else is using Instagram doesn’t mean you should.

You can’t do it all, especially when you’re just getting started so focus on where you can make the biggest impact.

Before settling on a promotional strategy, ask yourself some important questions…

  • Where is my audience hanging out? Are they LinkedIn lovers or Pinterest junkies? Facebook? Podcast listeners or blog readers?
  • What’s my “hook”? How can I capture people’s attention so that they’ll be banging my door down to work with me or buy my courses or coaching?
  • Where can I create a leveraged impact? What promotional strategy will give me the highest reward for the least amount of energy invested?

When you’ve created influence and a promotional strategy, you can sell to your heart’s content.

The best sales strategy for you depends on a few different things:

  • The price point of your product or service — the general rule of thumb is the higher your price point, the more high-touch your sales process needs to be.

  • Your personal preferences — there’s no rule saying you MUST have a webinar or offer 1:1 sales calls or do anything I just mentioned above, what’s important is that you find something that’s effective and that you enjoy.

If sales calls are most effective, but you hate ‘em, you might need to hire a salesperson.

Apply the ‘Power A’ Formula, and doing that will feel a whole lot less daunting.

Your ability to Attract, Accelerate, and Amplify — will put you on the fast track to 6-figures and beyond.

It’ll help you avoid the anxiety of not knowing what to do next to grow your business.

One of the biggest things that’s helped me calm my inner worrywart (uck, worst analogy ever) is to eliminate as much uncertainty as possible.

And I’ll tell you exactly how I did that in tomorrow’s email alongside the final phase of my ‘Power A’ Formula.

Get ready to amp it up!
