If you’ve been thinking about starting a podcast or whether you’re already rockin’ the microphone, I’ve got some cool news to share today…
I was talking last week with my buddy John Dumas from the Entrepreneur on Fire podcast.
You may have heard of him and his “fire nation” as he likes to call his community.
He’s built the show into one of the top Business shows on iTunes in just 11 months, regularly ranking in the top 3 right up there with Dave Ramsey.
He does 7 shows a week and he gets 500,000 downloads a month.
That’s crazy balls!
I knew he was making money from the show but I didn’t know exactly how much.
He told me he was about to release his first ever monthly income report for September and that it was a record month.
How good a month was it? I asked.
John did over $50K last month from his podcast and business.
Yep, you’re reading that right — over $50K.
Not a bad month, I’d say.
He’s been so successful with it that he wants to start sharing his success.
Podcasters Paradise: A Community for Podcasters
He told me about this cool community he’s starting up called Podcasters Paradise.
It’s a community for podcasters looking to create, grow and/or monetize their podcast.
What I particularly like about it is it’s not just for newbies. It’s for beginners, intermediate and seasoned podcasters.
If you’d like to check it out and get more info, here’s the page John’s put together:
Here’s what I know about Podcasters Paradise:
- Loads of video tutorials that show you how to create, grow and monetize your podcast.
- A forum for podcasters to exchange ideas, tips & tactics, find show guests, exchange honest iTunes reviews/ratings and more.
- Monthly webinars with top podcasting experts. I’m honored that John’s asked me to do one of the webinars!
Another thing I like about it?
There’s no recurring monthly charge. It’s one fee. Boom, you pay it and you’re done.
In fact, I told him he should be charging way more for it.
If this sounds like something you’d like to hear more about from John, click here.
And yes, if you do sign-up through this page I do get a small commission which helps keep the Inside Social Media podcast going. So, thanks!
